NAS4Free 

NAS4Free is an embedded Open Source NAS (Network-Attached Storage) distribution based on FreeBSD.

It supports sharing across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Apple, and UNIX-like systems. NAS4Free is easy to set up in most home and enterprise environments and will allow you to manage and share large amounts of data easily across your network. NAS4Free: Features

All NAS4Free versions:

• Multiple arch: i386 or amd64 (32-bits or 64-bit)
• ARM based platforms (RPI, RPI2 OC1)
• Full Web Management Interface (WebGUI) Control

Base system:

• Base OS used for NAS4Free 10.2.0.2.xxxx series = FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE
• Base OS used for NAS4Free 9.3.0.2.xxxx series = FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE
• Base OS used for NAS4Free ARM series = FreeBSD 11-CURRENT

Hard drive and volume management:

• ZFS v5000 (Feature Flag)
• ZFS LZ4- compression
• Software RAID 0,1,5 and mix (1+0,1+1, etc.)
